One of the challenges facing Singapore Massage Establishment (ME) operators is to ensure regulatory compliance with regards to customer registration. Non-compliance may lead to costly fines and may place valuable operating licenses at risk.

This application is designed to assist with customer registration compliance. The benefits include:
- Better data validation and legibility as compared to traditional pen and paper methods.
- Ensuring that sensitive personal customer data is not visible to other customers while they register.
- Simplified and faster registration especially for repeat / regular customers.
- Customizable company logo and outlet name for display on registration page.
- Able to record membership / package details and monitor health declaration requirements.
- Attachment of remarks for each customer visit, keeping track of the treatment, therapist, etc.
- Clear and concise views of visits by date, visits by customer, current visitors, etc.
- Searching customer database using full or partial ID number / name / telephone number / membership details.
- The ability to print hardcopy visitor reports directly to an AirPrint Printer and / or to email softcopies of these reports for archival to or printing from another computer.
- Registration data is stored on a remote server and this facilitates quick service restoration in the event of hardware failure.
- Offline mode to facilitate registration during temporary server / connection failures. The registration data will be automatically synchronized to the server once the application detects the server / connection is restored.
- Low cost, simple and easy to use.

The registration data captured are:
- ID card number / Passport number / Travel document number.
- Full name.
- Nationality.
- Telephone number.
- Date and time of arrival.
- Date and time of departure.

Other data that can be captured by ME inputs are:
- Membership / Package number.
- Last health survey / declaration date (Note: The application will highlight the requirement for or expiry of each visitor’s health survey / declaration).
- Remarks for each customer visit.

Reports, views and other functions:
- Daily Visits Report.
- Current Visitors View.
- Recent Customer View with Customer Search function.
- Settings (Account Administration, In-App Shop, T & C and Application Support).

Summary:
This application eliminates handwriting ambiguity and helps to better ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. In addition, customer information is safely stored and visitor reports can be retrieved, emailed and / or printed for archival.

Hardware / System requirements:
- A Wifi only / Wifi + Cellular iPad.
- Internet access through Wifi / Cellular network
- (Optional) A connected AirPrint enabled printer.
- An account with sufficient Usage Days (UD) for each ME outlet. The data for each account is partitioned, segregated and password protected. Each account ID can only be used to login to 1 SG MEReg application on 1 iPad at any 1 time.

Bonus: For ME managers / owners, a free companion viewer application (MEReg Viewer) is available and can be installed on any number of iPad to monitor 1 or more outlets.

Setup Step by Step Guide:
1. Download SG MEReg for free from the Apple App Store (Singapore).
2. Login using evaluation ID: “evaluation123” and password: “1234567”.
3. After evaluation, purchase a new account ID with 120 Usage Days (UD) from the In-app shop (an Apple ID is required).
4. Log out from the evaluation account and login using new account ID and password.
5. Start using application and add UDs (from In-app shop) as necessary.
